Crab Island in Destin
Crab Island is a shallow sandbar on the north side of the Destin (Marler) Bridge. It can only be reached by boat, jet ski, kayak or paddleboard; there is no road access. The water is about 1 to 4 feet deep in most areas, and the ride from Destin Harbor takes about 5 to 7 minutes. Rent a pontoon or book a shuttle boat from the harbor. Stay in Destin near the harbor for the easiest access.
