Coming to Destin can be exciting and overwhelming at the same time, with lots of questions. We want to make this trip simple for you and most enjoyable during your stay. Here are the most common questions and answers.
When is check in time?
Check-in time is at 4:00 PM CST, please check your time zone. Please keep in mind that in the busy season, to ensure quality and address any issues, we reserve the right to delay check-in so we can ensure your home is ready!
When is check-out time?
Check out is at 10:00 AM CST. In the busy season we cannot make exceptions as we have a short window to ready the home for our next guests. Please be respectful of that and other’s vacations plans.
What are the rules for smoking?
Absolutely no smoking in the homes. If smoking outside of the home, don’t leave your butts on the property. If we have to replace or spend time cleaning up, there are additional charges per our signed guest policy.
What are the pet rules?
Some homes allow pets per the listing and agreement. There is a fee for pets. If your home does not allow pets, do not bring them in the home. Unauthorized pet stays will result in fees and eviction per the signed guest policy.
When do I get the code to check in?
When the home has been cleaned and inspected and your balance has been paid in full, we’ll email you instructions on home entry and address. This will include security codes.
Do you provide Beach Towels?
We do not provide beach towels, please pack your favorites. There are plenty of gift shops selling towels at a reasonable price if you forget. Please don’t use the bath towels at the beach.
What do you provide for kitchen and bath?
For the bathroom we provide bath towels, hand towels, wash clothes, and starter soap and shampoo. We also provide a starting inventory of toilet paper.
For the kitchen the owner has provided utensils, cookware, cutlery, appliances, dishware and a starter supply of paper towels, dish soap, and hand soap.
Do you provide beach chairs and umbrellas?
Some owners have provided these for your use, please check the listing. At no charge we can provide concierge services and arrange these for you with some local vendors that we’ve worked with in the past.
How do I report minor issues in the home? What about emergencies?
We appreciate it if you email us at maintenance@ and we’ll tackle those after your stay. For emergencies, if need call 911 if safety is a concern. If not requiring emergency services, call us at 850- or email us immediate response.
Do you require a security deposit or hold?
We do require a security deposit of up to $2000 depending on the home. We highly recommend purchasing CSAs Damage Protection and Waiver. Purchase of this policy protects you and the owner and eliminates the need for a deposit or credit card hold. These are very reasonably priced for that protection.
